West LA Baby Boomer Insurance Services was founded by Bruce Johnston to assist LA's Boomers with their Medicare-related health insurance coverage. The company's goal is to develop a lasting relationship with clients by providing them with choices that best suit their needs.

Bruce has more than 25 years experience in the industry. He joined FHP Senior Plan in 1985 to launch the first Medicare Advantage plan in the United States. During 16 years with FHP/Secure Horizons, he personally assisted more than 15,000 seniors with their Medicare choices.

In 2001, Bruce joined Blue Shield of California and spent seven years assisting clients with Medicare choices for the Blue Shield 65 Plus program as well as traditional Medicare supplement products.

When the law changed in 2008 to allow insurance brokers to sell all Medicare-related policies, Bruce founded West LA Baby Boomer Insurance Services and in five years has established the agency of record for Medicare choices among the budding seniors in West LA.
